Totally Tubular Recipes :DDDD

CONSTRUCTION IS going as slow as it does in real life

Half of a lime

2 tsp sugar. Brown sugar is preferred, but not necessary

2 oz Cachaça

Cut the 1/2 lime into quarters

Put the lime wedges and 2 tsp brown sugar in a double rocks glass

Muddle the lime and brown sugar together really well

Toss 2 oz of the Cachaça in the glass, add some ice, and stir

Done, that's all there is to it

Ahhh, Brazil's national drink. You know, it's hard for me to do this one justice. I've made it a couple times now, but I'm not sure if I can 100% describe how it tastes. It's pretty dang good though. It tastes a little sweet, with a large amount of lime. There's a hint of Cachaça in there as well. Either way, this is a drink I recommend you try at least once. It's not a particularly strong beverage, alcohol wise, and it's very easy to make.

The Che Surprise

3/4 oz lime juice

3/4 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz pineapple juice

1/2 oz raspberry syrup

1 tsp triple sec

Pour into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice

Shake until well frosted

Strain into an old fashioned glass

The Che Surprise is a recipe made by yours truly. It's based off the Cuban Special. While not as famous as the daiquiri or mojito, Cuban Specials have a good place in my pallet as a relatively strong-tasting tropical beverage. However, I decided that I wanted to try something that might be sweeter but still feels like a Cuban Special, so I tossed in a few more ingredients and voila! This is a very sour cocktail with a hint of sweetness and rum. Keep that in mind, if sour is not your thing, then this won't be for you
